My Wife And Kids

I just created a major pitfall with my creative blog entry title: we know everything there is to know about the “wives,” or lack thereof, in our three (soon to be four) sitcoms!
Best stick to the kids, then.

Between the sitcoms, the cast member’s children get relatively little limelight (with the exception of cutie-pie Marvin), either being too young to do much or episode pilot featurettes sitting on a leather couch. I’m thinking we need to know more about the children behind the scenes: Ted’s unnamed progenies, little Marvin--and what became of Ross and Rachel’s Emma?

Luke and Leia:

Okay, I jest; we don’t know if they’re actually named Luke and Leia. They’re certainly far from fraternal twins—according to the episode Trilogy Time, the daughter precedes the son at around 15, 16 years of age.
Lyndsy Fonseca portrays Ted’s daughter, an actress with a lifelong portfolio of TV appearances, including The Young and the Restless, CSI, House M.D. and Nikita.
David Henrie, the son, flexed his acting muscles on shows geared toward kids themselves initially, like Wizards of Waverly Place and That’s So Raven, before breaking into shows including House, Cold Case and Judging Amy.

Marvin:

How I Met Your Mother told Marvin W. Eriksen’s tale from near start-present, including, um, when he happened, all the way up through other major milestones: Lily discovering she was pregnant, the cast discovering Marvin was a boy, his birth, naming, assigning of awesome godparents.

Marvin may have entertained a host of interesting nannies and caregivers, but up until Ted finds his Mother, he’s going to be the cast’s favorite—and cutest—baby.
Wonder if Robin and Barney ever have kids.

Emma:

The baby that got back—got Rachel and Ross back, that is, come the F.R.I.E.N.D.S series finale. Rachel discovered her pregnancy during the season 7 finale, and since, the last three seasons features a bright and beaming baby on Rachel’s hip. Or in the stroller, or on the swing-set.
